Music and Film Producers Society Get New Leadership

Surya Magar has assumed leadership of the music and film production community, taking charge as the head of the Music and Film Producers Society. Prior to this, Surya Magar served as the vice-chairman within the working committee headed by Nirmal Dhakal. The Society, a prominent collective of music and film producers, has unanimously elected a new working committee under Surya Magar’s leadership. Notably, Hum Gaire has been appointed as the vice president, Sunil Lamichhane as the general secretary, Chhabiraj Ojha as the secretary, and Meghraj Magrati as the treasurer. The committee also includes Toran Bahadur Gurung (Shashi), Rukman Limbu, Umesh Gurung, and Dhanu Gyangmi as members. The event, graced by Registrar Bishnu Kumari Bhattarai, took place at the Nepal Copyright Registrar office. Additionally, significant figures like Milan Moktan, President of Nepal Music Association, Suresh Adhikari, President of Music Royalty Collection Society, and Shiv Hamal, President of Presenter Society, attended the 5th, 6th, and 7th general meetings, along with Hemraj Dhakal from the Federation of Commerce and Industry, and various other distinguished guests.
